Golf Course Note for Monday, May 11th and Tuesday, May 12th:
In alignment with our greens recovery plans and improved maintenance efforts, we are scheduled to aerify and topdress the Back 9 greens on Monday, and the Front 9 on Tuesday.
During this time, those 9’s will be closed to play. Monday league play will not be affected by this closure.
On Tuesday, the Front 9 will open in the afternoon/evening as the Eagles league will play the back 9.
This aerification is a solid tine (not pulling cores, like in the fall), which will recover much quicker with the same helpful effects on the health of our greens turf. Once the greens have recovered from this process, we will begin lowering the HOC (height of cut), progressively working towards our daily play goal for the season.
